Evening review
A quiet review before sleep. Four short questions about the day you just lived. Write what you noticed, then leave it. The notes stay on this device. Nothing is sent anywhere.
This page is for a beginner ending the day. You do not need a finished course or a special vocabulary. Answer in any order. One sentence is enough, and a blank line is allowed.
You may not want to look. If a question feels too large, write one word, or write “nothing,” and stop. That is a complete review. Sleep is the next room.
The questions are ours. They sit beside self-observation, Yama and Niyama, and dream work. This pad does not replace those pages.
This pad runs in your browser. Turn on JavaScript to keep notes on this device.
The teaching beside this pad
Self-observation in ordinary language begins in the self-observation lesson, continues on the walked inner work path, and can go further in the longer self-observation course. Restraint and observance are gathered on Yama and Niyama. If the night is the next room, use dream work and the dream-fragment pad.
For the tradition’s own words, open Yama (glossary) (opens in a new tab) , Niyama (glossary) (opens in a new tab) , Self-observation and self-remembering (opens in a new tab) , and Dream Yoga (glossary) (opens in a new tab) . We link to them. We do not reprint them.
When you are ready
One quiet page is enough for tonight.
