First Order Gnosis is an editorial map. It is not a clinic, a church, or a publisher. Use it to orient — then take care of your body and your legal duties in the ordinary world.
Spiritual psychology is not clinical care
Talk of the ego, the soul, dreams, or “inner work” can sound like therapy. It is not. Nothing on this site is medical, psychiatric, or psychological treatment. If you are depressed, traumatized, psychotic, or unsure whether a practice is safe for you, speak with a licensed professional who can see you as a patient — not a seeker on a webpage.
Addiction and substance dependence
Some Gnostic and esoteric writings discuss alcohol, drugs, pornography, or “annihilation of the ego.” That language does not replace treatment for addiction or substance dependence. If you are dependent on a substance, or someone you love is, seek qualified medical and recovery services. Do not use this site as a withdrawal plan.
Alcohol withdrawal can kill. Do not cold-turkey heavy drinking or alcohol dependence without medical supervision. Sudden stoppage can cause seizures, delirium, and death. Medically supervised detox is not optional if you are dependent. Spiritual practice does not replace it.
Plain-English help paths (beside care, never instead of it) live under I want to change — including stop watching porn, quit smoking weed, stop drinking alcohol, stop exploding, and sleep better, and simplify money so I can practice. The broader editorial framing is inner work: habits, ego, and spiritual psychology.
Pages on anger are not anger-management therapy, a safety plan, or psychiatric care. Pages on sleep and dreams are not sleep medicine. If there is violence, a psychiatric crisis, insomnia, apnea, or nightmares tied to trauma, licensed care comes first.
Money tools are not financial advice
The Life / money helpers and the “simplify my money” path are educational tools only. They are not personalized financial, tax, or investment advice, and they are not a substitute for a qualified adviser. Past performance does not predict future results. Country and tax rules vary. We do not pick products, brokers, or tickers. First Order Gnosis is a Gnostic library first — a map into practice, not a finance brand. If money stress is crushing your mental health or you cannot stay safe, contact licensed professionals and local emergency services. See Life / money tools and I want to simplify my money so I can practice.
Crisis
If you are in immediate danger, planning to harm yourself or someone else, or unable to stay safe, contact local emergency services now. This website cannot intervene, monitor you, or send help.
