What this course is for

Self-observation notices aspects of experience. In the selected Gnostic teaching, self-remembering also includes remembrance of Being or divinity. These ideas are related, but not synonyms. This course explains that distinction and develops brief, grounded applications during ordinary activities.

You will practise with reading, a small task and a safe conversation, then learn how to end and return flexibly. A student who does not use devotional language can take an attention-based preparation route, clearly labelled as such. No special feeling, continuous self-monitoring or claim of awakening is required.

Readiness: Self-Observation (M01) and Concentration (M02), or equivalent experience distinguishing observation, interpretation and a prepared response. The vocabulary map F10 is available if terms are unfamiliar.

  • Explain what the selected source adds to ordinary attention through remembrance of Being.
  • Distinguish engaged presence from repeatedly inspecting whether you are present.
  • Try and end a brief return to a safe task, then describe what actually happened.

Take one lesson at a time. Read its explanation and example, prepare the single activity, then review the attempt. Fictional work is a complete study route; it does not establish how you will respond in life. No journal, streak or personal submission is required.

A Gnostic Instructor, Self-observation and Self-remembering; Glorian, Beginning Here and Now (opens in a new tab)

A brief excerpt from the paragraph beginning with the three steps of observing, comprehending and transforming. The lecture connects ordinary presence with remembrance of one's true Self; its wider physiology is not assigned.

Put it into practice. Meet the safe task actually before you, instead of replacing it with repeated checks of your spiritual state.

Your course, step by step

  1. What self-remembering means hereDistinguish remembrance of Being from noticing a thought or sustaining a task.
  2. Presence versus inward checkingReturn to an external task when checking your state begins to displace it.
  3. Identification and forgettingLocate a choice point in a mild fictional reaction without treating a lapse of attention as a moral identity.
  4. Presence during workTry one brief return to a safe task while preserving accuracy and awareness of surroundings.
  5. Presence during relationshipRecall a relational purpose and respond to one actual request without treating the other person as a practice object.
  6. Flexible returnFinish a proportionate personal or fictional plan for returning to ordinary activity without a continuous-presence demand.

Keep the work proportionate

Use seated reading or another safe, low-demand activity. Do not divide attention while driving, using tools, cooking with heat, crossing roads or caring for an immediate hazard. If inward attention increases distress, disconnection or checking, use the fictional or outward-focused route and stop. Persistent difficulty deserves suitable individual support.

Credited teaching and our contribution

Glorian's anonymous instructor supplies the selected Gnostic account; it is not a quotation spoken directly by Samael merely because the lecture reports his teaching. Its claims about genetics, exact consciousness percentages and pineal physiology are not adopted. NHS and NCCIH references describe limits of mindfulness and meditation generally, not validation of our course. Our brief tasks are independent educational preparations.

Self-observation and Self-remembering

Relevant passage: The paragraph linking remembrance with God/Monad, and the later paragraph beginning Of course, this work is only part of the denying of the self, including ordinary eating, walking and talking examples.

A religious account. No mantra repetition, pineal visualisation, genetic claim, numerical consciousness score or sexual technique is assigned from the surrounding lecture.

Relevant passage: Present attention, everyday activity and the section asking whether mindfulness is helpful for everyone.

Mindfulness can be unhelpful or make some people feel worse. It is not a synonym for the entire Gnostic self-remembering doctrine or proof of this course's effects.
