What you can do here

This guide is for someone who wants a free course and has not chosen an organisation. No earlier study on this site is required. It is a reading of existing Library records, not a First Order Gnosis course and not an enrolment form.

After you read it, you can name who runs a listed course, read the tradition label and format stored on its record, and open the publisher. One course is enough. You do not have to open every link before you leave.

The courses

Listed by organisation name. That order is not a ranking. The description under each link is the Library record, including its limits.

How to choose

Read the organisation, the tradition label and the format first. Then use the description already stored on the record. The records on this page share the tradition label Practical Gnosis and the format Course. They differ in what each description says the course contains.

Austin Gnosis Center’s record describes a free 33-lesson introductory series. The British Institute of Gnostic Studies’ record describes a free course in four levels plus a level of selected practices. Gnosis England’s record describes a free English course with live lesson videos on meditation, mantras, runes and psychology. The Gnostic Institute of Anthropology Samael and Litelantes’ record describes a free correspondence course for people who cannot reach a study centre. Gnostic Studies’ record describes a free school hub on what alchemy means. That record does not give a lesson count.

Open the publisher’s page for the course you want to look at. Where a note says the lesson content has not been reviewed here, this page does not add a review. Where a note mentions registration, dates or sign-up, those details stay with the organisation named on the record.

Chicago Gnosis’s Way of the Bodhisattva is a course record kept with the same Library file. That record does not describe the series as free, so it is not listed above. Glorian’s archived courses are a separate collection. They remain available through the Library course filter and the archived Glorian courses filter.

When you are ready

That filter lists every Library record tagged Course, including records this page does not describe as free.
